Shared Whale Watching
[[wysiwyg_imageupload:whale from boat:]]Cabo San Lucas is well known for its magnificent whale watching opportunity. From late December to late March Cabo San Lucas area is a home for the most amazing creatures to live on earth, WHALES. Visiting our area to breed and give birth allows an easy close encounter and calm observations of the Pacific Gray and the acrobatic Humpback whales.
Our public Snorkeling & Whale Watching cruise is 3 hours long. We depart the marina toward the 'Pelican Rock', the best snorkeling and scuba diving in the area where you'll be able to swim and snorkel with huge amount of tropical fish. After snorkeling we will lift the sails and go look for whales.
During season whales are in abundant, close by, there is no need to sail deep into the ocean.
Whale watching as part of Sunset Sailing is 2 hours long. The cruise departs toward the main point of interest in Cabo San Lucas bay. Then, we hoist the sails for an afternoon whale watching till after sunset.
Approaching whales under sail allow a true Eco Whale Watching, with a minimum or without interfering with their routine. Our highly trained crew would love to offer verbal explanation about whale’s migration and behavior. This cruise is a MUST TO DO by any visitor to Los Cabos during winter time.
The boat was great. We didn't know what to expect, but when we saw the boat and the crew our worries were laid to rest. Everything was perfect. There was a total of 10 people on the boat. The drinks came out right away. They provided wetsuits during the snorkeling portion for whoever needed one. The winds were perfect so we sailed for quite a bit. We also got to see a whale since we went in February. The crew went to great extents to insure that we were all happy and comfortable. I HIGHLY recommend this tour.
