The most common whales are Humpback and Grey. The Humpbacks are known for their "surface behavior" of breaching, full body, out of the water.

When is the best time to see whales?
Answer: 
Whale watching season in Cabo San Lucas is from late December to late March. The lucky ones can spot few a little bit earlier or later in the season. There is NO better time (morning or afternoon hours) for whale watching.Whale watching season in Cabo San Lucas is from late December to late March.
